Parenting styles

It's always interesting looking at the different parental approaches at a place like Obstacle Warriors. You have the helicopter parents who remain within inches of their kids the entire time. At the other end of the spectrum you have the parents who are sitting in a chair in the very front of the building with zero visibility to any part of the obstacle course, seemingly willing the minutes to pass as slowly as possible. There are the parents who stay close enough to see everything but are letting their kids go go go. Then there are the parents like the grumpy-faced dad who's sitting near the action on a conference call appearing to have just just come off a 70 hour work week, looking defeated in his crocs and yesterday's hair.  (No, it isn't Jose. He would never wear crocs. Lol)
